I'd like to avoid using the console, as i heard it can cause scripting problems and being unable to actually finish the quest. And of course, because i'm a bit dumb, i don't have saves before this happened. It's been 3 days, i tried everything, going back to the Stormcloak camp, running to Whiterun, to the castle, doing quest for Whiterun people, running from Whiterun to Windhelm, taking a cart from another city to Whiterun, sleeping in inns, doing other random quests. Everything seems fine in Whiterun, the people are acting as usual despite the city being half destroyed, and Stormcloak guards patroling the city. The fighting music is still up, sometimes it stops and comes back. Then, i was supposed to report to Ulfric, but this good sir's dialogue didn't update and doesn't show the line i'm supposed to tell him. I went to Whiterun, played through the big fight, defeated Balgruuf. So, like a lot of people, i'm doing the liberation of Skyrim quest for the Stormcloaks.
